I would evaluate the TV in two parts, the first being the quality of the hardware (picture, sound , aesthetics), and 2nd everything else:Picture & sound: IMHO Sony still has the best picture quality among major manufacturers, and this TV has the most natural-looking colors & best blacks i've seen, at least when I was comparing sets in the store.
